In this video tutorial, we show you how to verify your custom domain automatically via our integration with Entri, if your domain provider is Namecheap. Entri is a third-party service that can configure your DNS records automatically.

Step by step instructions:

  1. Log into your Flodesk account and go to Account settings > Domain setup

  2. On your domain card, click Verify now > Automatically verify my domain

  3. Click Continue

  4. When prompted, log into your Namecheap account

  5. If prompted, enter the verification code sent to your email address and hit Continue

  6. After our Entri integration has successfully completed the steps and added your DKIM, SPF, and DMARC records to your domain provider account, you’ll be redirected to the Account settings > Domain setup page in Flodesk

  7. The domain verification card will initially show as "Pending" as it can take up to 48 hours for your domain to be verified

Note: Most often, DKIM and DMARC records are verified quicker and SPF records can take up to 48 hours to propagate. So it's not uncommon to see a "Partially verified" screen. You do not need to go through the verification steps again, though.

  8. Wait 24-48 hours and come back to check if your domain has been successfully authenticated.

If your domain is not verified after 48 hours, review the recommended troubleshooting steps from this guide. Most often, the issue is that certain domain providers add the domain name automatically. For additional assistance, you can email us at support@flodesk.com.
