Certain industries are prohibited from using Flodesk Email. Reasons vary from industry to industry, but in general, we’re unable to service industries that result in unusually high levels of spam complaints and bounced emails.
Some industries, such as banking, are incompatible with our platform as we’re not designed to store sensitive personal information for highly regulated industries.

Industries prohibited from using Flodesk Email include:
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies
Banking, loans, investments, financial services, and credit/debt management services
Adult entertainment, including private content memberships
Nutritional and weight-loss supplements
Pharmaceuticals
Lotteries, gambling, and sweepstakes
Lead generation, including services that sell emails, leads, social media followers or engagement
Money making or get-rich-quick schemes

Note: These industries are welcome to use Flodesk Email with a verified domain email and following our prohibited content guidelines.

Even if your industry is allowed, some types of content are prohibited on Flodesk Email. Prohibited content includes:
Emails that contain 100% affiliate marketing content
Sending repetitive content to the same subscribers in a short period of time
Any emails asking for sensitive private information, such as payment info or social security numbers
