A quick overview of industries that can't use Flodesk Email and those that can use Flodesk Email with some limitation

Certain industries are prohibited from using Flodesk Email. Reasons vary from industry to industry, but in general, we’re unable to service industries that result in unusually high levels of spam complaints and bounced emails.

Some industries, such as banking, are incompatible with our platform as we’re not designed to store sensitive personal information for highly regulated industries.

This article only covers industries and content prohibited from using Flodesk Emails, Forms, and Workflows.

Industries prohibited from using Flodesk Email include:

  1. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies

  2. Banking, loans, investments, financial services, and credit/debt management services

  3. Adult entertainment, including private content memberships

  4. Nutritional and weight-loss supplements

  5. Pharmaceuticals

  6. Lotteries, gambling, and sweepstakes

  7. Lead generation, including services that sell emails, leads, social media followers or engagement

  8. Money making or get-rich-quick schemes

Some industries can use Flodesk Email with some limitations:

  1. MLMs, Network Marketing, and Direct Marketing

  2. Real Estate

  3. Affiliate Marketing

Note: These industries are welcome to use Flodesk Email with a verified domain email and following our prohibited content guidelines.

Even if your industry is allowed, some types of content are prohibited on Flodesk Email. Prohibited content includes:

  1. Emails that contain 100% affiliate marketing content

  2. Sending repetitive content to the same subscribers in a short period of time

  3. Any emails asking for sensitive private information, such as payment info or social security numbers
