A quick guide on how to cancel your paid Flodesk subscription or request your account to be deleted

We know we’re not for everyone, but we really hate to see you go. If we didn’t meet your needs somehow, we’d love one last chance to make it right.

Canceling your Free trial

Your free trial has no strings attached. If you choose not to continue, it will simply expire, and you'll move to our free plan. Your account and content will remain accessible, but you won’t be able to send emails or use most features.

You'll still be able to create and share Flodesk Forms and any forms that you've already shared will continue to collect new subscribers.

If your free trial account expires,

  • you won't be able to send one-off emails

  • your workflows won't send more emails

  • your checkouts will be inactivated

  • your forms will, however, still remain active and collect subscribers

If you want to start using Flodesk again to send emails, you can begin a paid subscription by selecting a plan and entering your payment information on the Plan + billing page of your existing account.

Canceling your Paid subscription

Step 1. In your Flodesk account, click your avatar in the top right corner of your screen and go to Account settings > Plan + billing

Step 2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Request to cancel subscriptionunder the Invoices section.

Instead of canceling completely, which will automatically put you on our free plan, you also have the option to downgrade from the Everything plan to Email only.

If no cancelation option is available in your account, then the cancelation request has already been received and your account will close at the end of your current billing period.

Step 3. Complete the cancellation survey. You will receive a confirmation email once the cancelation is completed.

Taking these steps will start the cancellation process, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.

If you would like your subscription to end immediately, please contact us at support@flodesk.com.

Note: when you cancel your paid subscription and your subscription becomes inactive, you'll be automatically moved to our free plan. You can still access your account, all your content will be saved, and your opt-in forms will still remain active and collect subscribers.

Requesting Account Deletion (If you want your account to get deleted)

If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, contact us at support@flodesk.com.

Before we delete your account, double-check that you don't need anything from it. Remember, all your information will be permanently lost after deletion, so ensure you don't need anything before proceeding.

Once deleted, all your account information and content (emails, subscribers, workflows, forms, etc.) will be erased and unable to be retrieved.

To cancel your paid subscription, click on your profile in the top right, then select the Plan + billing page. Scroll down to the bottom and click on "Request to cancel subscription". Fill in the cancelation survey; you will receive a confirmation email once the cancelation is completed.
