FAQs
Can I import Canva designs into Forms and Checkouts?
Yes! As of now, this feature works with Emails, Forms, and Checkouts where image placeholders are available.
Can I import Canva GIFs into any block?
No. GIF imports are only supported in standard Image blocks. Other blocks (Layout, E-commerce, Poll) only support PNG images. Learn more about it here.
What happens if I edit a Canva design directly in Canva?
When you make changes to a Canva design outside of the Flodesk editor (for example, when you log into your Canva account and make any changes directly in the Canva builder), Flodesk won’t automatically sync those changes. To update your Flodesk content, you’ll need to re-import the edited design.
Will a Canva image be editable if I share an email, form or checkout as a template?
No. Shared templates only include the static image. The Canva design won’t be editable by others and won’t appear in their Canva account.
Summary
Connect your Canva account under Account settings > Integrations or directly from the Email/Forms/Checkout builder to seamlessly add your Canva designs into Image blocks, Layout block, E-commerce block, or Poll block.
To make some edits to your imported design later, just click the “Edit in Canva” option in your Flodesk email.
