As entrepreneurs, you know just how important it is for your small business to maintain a consistent brand experience across all your marketing channels.

You bought a unique domain for your website and you reserved your social media handles for your business. All that’s left now is to claim your unique Flodesk handle!

What is a Flodesk handle?

Think about your Flodesk handle as a unique subdomain. Whenever you share your link in bio forms, full page forms or checkout pages, your Flodesk handle will appear as the first part of the URL.

It will look something like this:

yourbrand.myflodesk.com/

Your Flodesk handle helps you showcase your brand or business name and provide your audience with a consistent experience wherever they find you online.

Important: Your Flodesk handle is an account-level feature, which means that it will automatically apply to all your link in bio form, full page form and checkout links. If you change your Flodesk handle later, it will update your published link in bio form, full page form and checkout links.

What should I create as my Flodesk handle?

When deciding what Flodesk handle to claim, create a handle that identifies you or your business and that helps your audience recognize the URL as “yours.”

For example, if you’re a pet photographer with the website [www.ginasmith.com] and your social media handles are @ginasmith, consider picking “ginasmith” as your Flodesk handle. This will make it easier for your audience to recognize your brand and find your links.

Your Flodesk handle can be your name, your business name, or your brand name. The choice is yours!

Note: Flodesk handles have to be at least three characters long and can’t be longer than 30 characters. You can only use alphanumeric characters for your Flodesk handle.

You can set your account-level Flodesk handle in a few places.

Let’s look at them one by one.
