How can I refresh the connection to my PayPal account?
If you have an existing Flodesk subscription paid via PayPal, you need to keep your billing address up-to-date in PayPal. This article shows you how to do that.
Note: if you paid your initial subscription via PayPal before December 2022 and you'd like to upgrade your current subscription plan, you have to refresh the connection to your PayPal account first.
Refreshing the PayPal connection
First, log into your PayPal account and double-check and edit your billing address if needed.
Next, to refresh the PayPal connection to Flodesk, follow these steps:
Step 1. Navigate to My account > Plan + billing
Step 2. Click Change payment and billing address info on the Payment details card
Step 3. Click Update your PayPal connection to open the PayPal modal
Step 4. Select the card you want to be attached to your subscription (Note: it can be the same card that's currently being used)
Step 5. Click Accept and continue in the PayPal window.
The new address information will now override any old address we have on file.
