How to add a Flodesk opt-in form to a Canva website

Canva websites do not support direct HTML embed code. However, you can still connect a Flodesk opt-in form by using a Full Page Form or a Link in Bio Form. These forms are hosted by Flodesk and include a shareable URL that you can link to from your Canva site.

This guide walks you through how to create the form in Flodesk and link to it from your Canva site.

• Log in to your Flodesk account.

• Choose either a Full Page Form or Link in Bio Form.

• These forms are hosted by Flodesk and automatically generate a unique shareable link.

• Select the subscriber segment you want new signups to be added to.

  

• Use the design tools to style the form so it matches your brand.

• Once you finished editing your Full page form or Link in bio form, click the Settings button.

  

• Decide if you want to turn on the Double opt-in form the form or be notified when subscribers opt in to this form. Also, you can edit and choose the segments connected to this form.

  

• Under the Link tab, you can edit and customize the form link by clicking the pencil icon. You can also set your Flodesk handle to point to this form.

  

• On the Link preview tab you'll find the controls to change what people see when your Flodesk form link appears on social media, messengers, or search engines, including meta image, meta title and meta description.

• After customizing your form, click the Share button, and use the built-in Copy button to grab your form link.

• Copy this link—you’ll use it in Canva to direct visitors to your form.

• Open your Canva website editor.

• Select the element (such as a button, image, or text) where you want to place the opt-in action.

• Use Canva’s linking tool to add the Flodesk form URL to that element.

• Save and publish your changes.

You can’t embed Flodesk forms directly into Canva websites, but you can:

• Create a Full Page or Link in Bio Form in Flodesk

• Customize and publish the form

• Copy the form’s unique URL

• Link to the form from any clickable element on your Canva website

This method ensures your Canva website visitors can subscribe through your branded Flodesk form, even without HTML embedding.
