If you're looking for a way to set up a template for your blog’s feed so that Flodesk automatically sends out an email to subscribers every time there is a new post on the blog, please note that we don't currently have a native RSS option.
Right now, what we recommend is creating an email template you use for when you have a new blog post.
It can be a simple email.
Just include an intro that you have a new blog post, have a place to upload an image for it—or you can use one of our Layout blocks. The below Layout block examples are suited for creating blog post teasers.
Once you're happy with your email design, save it to your favorites.
Where to find your saved blog post template email
When you want to send it, go to Emails and click create +New email.
Then select "My favorites" and choose that template you saved.
Click on Customize and it will open in the Email builder.
How to edit your blog post template email before sending it out
Now that the template is opened in the Email builder, update it with information about your latest blog post(s) you want to share with your audience.
Swap out the images
Update the headings and teaser text
Be sure to change the link(s) so they go to the new post(s)
It won't take more than a couple of minutes.
Use the built-in test send feature (little paper plane in the top left corner) to double-check how everything will look like in your subscriber's inbox.
Then you can send it to the segment you want to receive them.
Let's sum it up
Flodesk doesn't have a native RSS feature at the moment. In the meantime, create an email template for re-use any time you have new blog posts to share.
