How to find your average checkout conversion rate in Flodesk
Overview
If you have multiple checkouts set up in Flodesk, your average conversion rate gives you a quick read on how well your offers are performing overall. It's a useful benchmark for comparing individual checkouts against each other and spotting where there's room to improve.
How to find your average checkout conversion rate
Log in to Flodesk and go to Analytics > Checkouts
At the top of the page, find the All checkouts card
Your average conversion rate is displayed there, alongside your other lifetime checkout metrics
The conversion rate shown here is calculated across all your checkouts combined. It represents the percentage of visitors who completed a purchase out of everyone who visited your checkout pages.
How to use the data
Your average conversion rate works as a baseline for evaluating individual checkout performance:
If a specific checkout is converting well above your average, look at what's working, such as the offer, the page design, or the price point, and consider applying those elements elsewhere
If a checkout is converting below your average, it may be worth reviewing the copy, the offer clarity, the price, or whether the checkout is reaching the right audience
Tracking this number over time helps you see whether changes you make to your checkouts are having a positive effect
FAQ
How do I find my average checkout conversion rate in Flodesk?
Go to Analytics > Checkouts and look at the All checkouts card at the top of the page. Your average conversion rate is displayed there.
What does checkout conversion rate mean?
Conversion rate is the percentage of people who visited your checkout page and completed a purchase. For example, if 100 people visited a checkout and 10 bought, the conversion rate is 10%. A higher conversion rate means more of your visitors are completing their purchase.
Is the conversion rate shown an average across all my checkouts?
Yes. The conversion rate in the All checkouts card is calculated across all your checkouts combined. To see conversion rates for individual checkouts, check the One-time sales and Subscription sales tables further down the Analytics > Checkouts page.
What's a good checkout conversion rate?
Conversion rates vary widely depending on the type of offer, price point, and audience. Rather than comparing against an industry average, your own average is the most useful benchmark. Use it to compare your individual checkouts against each other and track whether changes you make are improving performance over time.
