How to export a CSV of your subscribers

This article explains how to download (export) your subscribers from Flodesk into a CSV file.

Exporting a CSV allows you to keep a copy of your subscriber data for your records, reporting, or use in other tools. You can export:

  • Your entire subscriber list, or

  • A specific segment

Important: This article is about downloading/exporting subscribers from Flodesk.

What’s included in an exported CSV?

Whether you export a single segment or your All subscribers list, the CSV file includes everyone currently in that segment, including:

  • Active subscribers

  • Unsubscribed contacts

  • Bounced email addresses

  • Contacts marked as spam

How to export a CSV for a single segment

  1. Go to Audience → Segments in your Flodesk account.

  2. Hover over the segment you want to export.

  3. Click the three dots (…) in the top-right corner of the segment card.

  4. Select Download CSV.

Your CSV download link will be sent to the login email address on your Flodesk account.


How to export a CSV of your entire list

  1. Go to Audience → Segments.

  2. Hover over the All subscribers segment.

  3. Click the three dots (…) in the top-right corner.

  4. Select Download CSV.

Your full subscriber list will be emailed to you as a downloadable CSV.

Download link details

  • The CSV download link is sent by email.

  • The link expires after 24 hours.

  • If the link expires, simply repeat the export steps to generate a new one.

Troubleshooting CSV exports

I received the email, but the CSV won’t download

Try the following:

  • If you’re using Safari, control-click the link and choose Download.

  • Check your browser’s Downloads folder or the bottom of your browser window.

  • If you’re using an email app (like Apple Mail), try opening the email in a web browser and downloading the file from there.

I didn’t receive the CSV download email

In some cases, CSV exports may not arrive if your Flodesk login email is set to a custom domain address.

What to try:

  1. Temporarily change your Flodesk login email to a free email provider (like Gmail or Hotmail).

  2. Export the CSV again.

This does not affect:

  • The email address you send from

  • Your sender reputation

  • Your account data

It only changes where the CSV download link is sent.
