Form troubleshooting

Form troubleshooting majorly depends on your website settings. But there are a few steps to take to double-check if you've set everything up correctly.

First, double-check if you created an inline form or a popup form. You can find the type in the original form template that you selected.

  1. If you created a popup form, make sure you're not trying to embed it in a post or page.

  2. If you created an inline form, make sure you're adding both the header code and the inline code snippets.

    1. The header code snippet goes in your website template code (not CSS).

    2. The inline code goes in the post or page where you want your form to display. You can grab both codes by clicking the Embed button in the Form builder.

If you checked and you've added all codes where you needed to, and you still can't see your form, then make sure your page or post is published. On some platforms, your form will not show up until you go live.

If all of the above fails, then it might be a cache issue.

  • Cache is when your browser stores old data to load pages faster, but it also means it's not pulling updates.

  • This means your form might be live, but your browser is not showing it because it's displaying old data. To see if it's a cache issue, just try opening your site on an incognito window.

If none of this works, the next step would be to get in touch with your website provider, as there may be specific settings applied to your site only that are preventing you from adding a new form.
